• This hilarious book will continue to bring dental health to life! Providing a lot of laughs, this book is filled with interesting facts about our teeth.

• Make a bubble chart with a tooth in the middle. Ask students, what do you know about teeth? Record responses in the chart.
• After reading, use a different color marker to write down new information students have learned.

• Explain that speech bubbles tell you what someone says. They are shapes around words with an arrow pointing to the talking character. What characters were talking in this issue?
• Ask students to find all the speech bubbles in the issue. They can color or circle the words in the speech bubble.

• Students can think about how they work to care for their teeth and imagine how their teeth feel!
• For four days, have students fi ll in their chart daily. Guiding questions to use: What did you eat today? How did you take care of your teeth today? Do they feel sticky? Do you feel something stuck between your teeth?
• Students can draw faces on each tooth and write what their tooth would say!
